The BER Assessors Association of Ireland (BERAA)
Established in 2009, shortly after the launch of the Building Energy Rating (BER) program, the BER Assessors Association of Ireland (BERAA) supports and represents BER assessors nationwide. We advocate for professional standards, provide resources, and foster community growth, while giving voice to assessor issues.
Who We Are
As a voluntary organisation, BERAA promotes members' interests and holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM) to elect officers for the year. Members also benefit from networking opportunities and professional development support to enhance their careers.

Our mission is to advocate for BERAA members through ongoing dialogue with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) and other key stakeholders. We are committed to keeping members informed of legislative and work practice changes, providing necessary briefings and training as needs arise, ensuring our members stay updated and well-represented in the industry.
